We start 2026 celebrating 10 years of WannaGrow

Time really does fly when you’re doing work that matters on islands that vibe!

After a ten-year corporate career in the Netherlands and Curaçao, I discovered that rigid structures and predefined career paths were not where I thrived. Moving to the Caribbean opened the door to freedom, entrepreneurship, and a different way of working and living.

In 2005, I took a leap of faith and started WannaBike. What began as an adventure on bike trails quickly turned into something deeper: a passion for guiding people, not only outdoors, but also in their personal and professional journeys.
With the launch of WannaGo Outdoors, that passion entered the corporate world. Facilitating teambuilding sessions showed me something essential: sustainable performance starts with trust, connection, and leadership, not with systems and processes.
That insight became the foundation of WannaGrow

 

 

Ten years later, I’m deeply grateful to work with leaders, teams, and organizations who truly believe in building a Happy and Healthy Workplace. A workplace where people feel safe, connected, valued, and empowered to grow and perform at their best.

And while I’m very grateful of what we’ve built over the past ten years, the truth is: there is still a lot of work to do.
